Application Process
- Step 1: Obtain the Prescribed Form: Acquire the standard certified copy application form from the court counter, a local vendor outside the court premises, or download it from official portals like the City Civil Court Calcutta Forms Portal.
- Step 2: Fill in Case Details: You must accurately state the Case Number, name of the Judge/Bench, names of the parties involved, the specific date of the order, and clearly mark whether you require it on an Urgent or Ordinary basis.
- Step 3: Affix Court Fee Stamps: Purchase and paste the required value of Court Fee Stamps onto the application. Urgent applications require additional, higher-denomination stamps.
- Step 4: File the Application: Submit the completed form to the filing counter of the court’s Copying Section.
- Step 5: Collect the Acknowledgment: The clerk will provide an acknowledgment slip with a receipt number and an expected delivery date.
- Step 6: Tracking & Verification: You can track the status on the respective court’s website or via the eCourts portal. When collecting, ensure the document features the official court seal and the certifying officer’s signature
